When every minute counts, having the best available information can make all the difference. That is why we are particularly proud to share one of our most significant projects: the work TrueWorld is developing for SAMU 061, the Balearic Islands’ emergency medical service, in collaboration with the Balearic Islands Health Service.
Our CEO, Marco Mendoza, presented the initiative alongside Eloy Villalba, Managing Director of SAMU 061, and Manuela García, the Balearic Government’s Minister for Health, joined by a dedicated team of professionals from the service.
A digital twin and reliable predictive models
The project focuses on creating a digital twin of the service and developing reliable predictive models. SAMU 061 coordinates urgent and emergency medical care across the archipelago, handling thousands of calls every day through its coordination centre.
A digital replica fed by real-world data can provide a clearer understanding of how the service operates, allowing teams to simulate scenarios and anticipate potential developments. The aim is twofold: to deliver even more effective care today and prepare the service for a near future in which artificial intelligence and data spaces will change how people interact with public services.
Technology that puts people first
In this project, as in all our work, technology is a means to an end. People are at its heart: the professionals answering every call and those who need their help. The initiative is part of a wider commitment to innovation across healthcare and emergency services in the Balearic Islands, with the aim of making a positive difference throughout society.
For TrueWorld, it also marks an important step: applying the expertise we have built in digital twins and predictive modelling for geographic and environmental applications to an essential public service.
Thank you to SAMU 061, the Balearic Islands Health Service and the Ministry of Health for their trust. It is a pleasure to work alongside such skilled and dedicated professionals.
